DASNY is soliciting bids for the Fire Safety Upgrade including Associated Asbestos Abatement at Hudson Valley DDSO Hostel 10908, 82 Wilder Road, Suffern, New York 10901
The project is part of OPWDDD Fire Safety upgrades initiative, including the new fire suppression and fire alarm system, fire safety upgrades throughout the residence, an addition of an accessible ramp and associated asbestos abatement.
The scope of work requires the installation of two water lines (one is for fire suppression, the other for potable water), with two supplemental electrical lines (required for standard operation). The utilities will cross the bed and banks of a Class B protected stream (NYSDEC) and water of the United States. Part of the project does include limited ACM material removal.
