When the renovation is complete, Beverwyck and Schuyler Halls will be able to accommodate 171 students and will include a newly relocated Wellness Center. The state-of-the-art center will provide students on campus access to health, wellness, and counseling services.

Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today announced work has begun on a $16 million project to renovate Tower Three at SUNY Buffalo State College. The project is part of more than $73 million in capital renovation projects the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York has begun on SUNY campuses statewide. The renovation was financed through DASNY’s SUNY Dormitory Facilities Program, which issues low-cost, tax-exempt bonds supported by student residence hall fees. Construction is expected to be completed in July 2019.
Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today announced more than $67 million in grants for capital projects at 39 colleges and universities across New York. The funding comes from the Higher Education Capital Matching Grant Program and is awarded by the HECap Board, which provides matching grants to private, not-for-profit colleges and universities for projects that create construction jobs and drive investment in communities across the state.
The New York State Office of Disability Assistance, the Office of Mental Health, Homes and Community Renewal, and the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York announced the completion of Greenport Gardens Apartments, a $19 million mixed affordable and supportive housing development in Hudson. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to celebrate the official opening of the 66-unit development, which includes housing for homeless individuals and families with mental illness and low-income individuals and families.
