Sealed bids for the above Work located at Sunmount DDSO, 2445 State Roue 30, Tupper Lake, New York 12986 will be received by DASNY at its office located at 515 Broadway, Albany, NY 12207. DASNY is soliciting bids for the Reinsulation of Basements/Crawlspaces and Asbestos Abatement – Phase 1 at the OPWDD Sunmount DDSO facility in Tupper Lake, NY
Work is scheduled for basement and crawlspace areas of Phase 1 - Buildings 4, 5, and 12 and localized areas in Buildings 1 and 2. Project includes the installation and maintenance of a temporary steam/heat system for temporary mechanical system isolation and shutdowns, asbestos abatement with enclosure of soil floors, and re-insulation of pipes after abatement. Temporary steam/heat systems consists of an electric pool heater in Building 101, multiple tank type electric water heaters in Building 2, and all associated electrical, mechanical and plumbing work associated with interconnecting temporary steam/heat system with existing site infrastructure.
The estimated value of the HVAC Contract is $1,200,000 - $1,300,000.
The estimated value of the Electrical Contract is $24,000 - $30,000.
