DASNY is soliciting bids for the Mohawk Valley Psychiatric Center Pinefield Building 63 Consolidation and Hazardous Materials Remediation project.
The project consists of four (4) prime construction contracts; General Construction, HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Protection, and Electrical. The project scope of work involves interior renovations, site & drainage improvements.
The scope of work for each prime contract includes but is not limited to the following:
1) General Construction, mold remediation, selective demolition, windows and doors, partition installation, painting, flooring, acoustical ceilings, parking lot expansion, storm water collection, and sidewalk replacement; and
2) HVAC demolition, ductwork relocation, new ductwork install, piping, replacement of diffusers & grilles, modifications to existing exhaust system, new exhaust systems, replacement of existing finned tube and unit ventilators, new fan coil installation, new ERV system installation, and controls; and
3) Plumbing demolition, rerouting of below grade sanitary piping as well as rerouting of hot and cold-water piping to accommodate toilet rooms, med/exam rooms and kitchen renovations, new plumbing fixtures, replacement of roof drains and associated roof repairs; and
4) Electrical demolition, replacement of electrical panels, new LED lighting, new electrical and data installation for new layout, fire alarm and building security systems modifications (by others), and site lighting for the parking lot expansion.
Sub-Contracting Goals by Trade:
General Construction: MBE 6%, WBE 6% SDVOB 3%
Electrical: MBE 3%, WBE 3%, SDVOB 3%
HVAC: MBE 2%, 2%, 3%
