Nonprofit Infrastructure Capital Investment Program (NICIP)
Date of Issue: 10/30/2015
Solicitation # 461

Notice To Bidders:

The Governor and the Legislature appropriated an additional $50 million to the Nonprofit Infrastructure Capital Investment Program for Fiscal Year 2017, doubling the amount of funds available to $100 million.

This was partly in response to the higher than expected number of applications.

Given the vastly expanded funding and the incredible interest in this program, which will play an important role in supporting nonprofit organizations’ capital needs, it has been determined that we will not make awards based on applications submitted in January 2016 and a new procurement process will be undertaken. The new procurement will make the entire $100 million of NICIP funds available.

Clarifications are being made to the Request for Applications that will improve the application and evaluation process. Applicants who previously submitted an application are encouraged to reapply, by submitting a new application,  in response to the new $100 million Request for Applications.

The revised Request for Applications is expected to be released on August 5, 2016 and will be accessible on the Grants Gateway and DASNY website. Responses will be due on September 29, 2016.
