DASNY Closes on $37.3 Million Bond Issuance for Broome-Tioga BOCES Capital Improvement Project

 

Bond Proceeds Will Support Glenwood Campus Improvements in Binghamton

 

ALBANY, NY – The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY) closed on a $37.3 million Series 2026 bond issuance for the Board of Cooperative Educational Services of the Sole Supervisory District of Broome, Tioga and Delaware Counties (Broome-Tioga BOCES) to finance renovations and upgrades at the organization’s Glenwood Campus in Binghamton.

The Series 2026 bonds will support building improvements, updated equipment and site enhancements designed to modernize the campus and strengthen facilities serving students across the region. The capital project was approved by voters in November 2023. 

The bonds received strong investor interest during the order period, with final yields ranging from 2.09% to 4.25% and a true interest cost of 3.72%. The transaction was led by Roosevelt & Cross Incorporated as senior manager and supported by co-bond counsel Hardwick Law Firm, LLC and Holley & Pearson-Farrer, LLP.
