Financing will support 21 facilities across nine participating chapters of NYSARC
ALBANY, NY – The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY) announced the closing of $14.5 million in revenue bonds on behalf of NYSARC, Inc., d/b/a The Arc New York, providing financing for facility improvements that support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across New York State.
The financing includes $13,560,000 in Series 2026A tax-exempt bonds and $935,000 in Series 2026B federally taxable bonds.
The funding supports 21 projects undertaken by nine participating chapters of NYSARC, serving communities across New York State. The projects include improvements to residential homes and day treatment facilities that provide housing, training and support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Facility upgrades include building renovations, accessibility improvements, equipment purchases and other enhancements designed to improve safety, expand program space and strengthen services for the individuals and families these organizations serve.

NYSARC represents a statewide network of nonprofit chapters that provide services and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
