
DASNY is required to comply with Project Sunlight, an important component of the Public Integrity Reform Act of 2011. Pursuant to Project Sunlight, DASNY is required by law to report certain information if the purpose of a meeting relates to:
- Potentially procuring a contract for real property, goods or services, whether or not a current procurement process is in effect;
- Rate making;
- Representation of a client in a regulatory matter;
- Representation of a client or customer in a judicial or quasi-judicial proceeding; or
- Representation of a client or customer in the adoption or repeal of a rule or regulation.
In order to comply with Project Sunlight, visitors may be required to complete a form disclosing certain identifying information. This information will be made available in a publicly accessible and searchable website maintained by the State of New York.
