DASNY and McKissack/Turner host project information meeting for $100 million Medgar Evers project

The Dormitory Authority with Medgar Evers College and the Construction Management Team of McKissack/Turner are hosting a PROJECT INFORMATION MEETING on Wednesday, September 15, to encourage minority, women and local small business owners to bid on construction packages for the $100 million project. Information will be provided regarding design, bidding, construction schedule and contractor support services for this notable project.

The Project

The Academic 1 Building is the future home of the School of Science, Health & Technology at Medgar Evers College. It will be located along Crown Street opposite the Colleges Bedford Building and is planned to be approximately 195,000 gross square feet. The projected construction budget is approximately $100 million.
