DASNY Among Top Issuers
The Dormitory Authority issued $4.69 billion in bonds during the first nine months of 2003, making it the fourth-largest issuer of municipal bonds in the nation. Only the states of Illinois and California and the Golden State Tobacco Securitization Corporation issued more bonds than the Authority during this period.
With 34 issues, the Dormitory Authority went to market more times than any issuer in the country. The Bond Buyer, a financial newspaper, published the rankings today.
