DASNY oversees a portfolio of construction projects worth more than $6 billion. During fiscal year 2010-2011, DASNY spent more than $996 million on the projects it manages.
Financed by Dormitory Authority bonds, the construction projects managed by DASNY range from installing upgraded mechanical systems to the $587 million, 625,000 gsf expansion project at John Jay College in New York City. DASNY also manages "Building & Equipment" maintenance programs to rehabilitate and upgrade facilities for certain public clients to keep facilities financed by DASNY bonds in good repair and up to current building codes over the life of the bonds.
