The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY) requires the project architect to complete the questions listed below regarding the Planning and Zoning Information as it relates to the proposed project that will be designed. The information should indicate whether or not the proposed structure(s) will be compliant with the local municipality’s Planning and Zoning Codes. Although the campus may be exempt from these local requirements because the property is under New York State ownership, DASNY nevertheless requires the planning and zoning evaluation to assist it in making a State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) determination concerning whether or not the proposed project could have a significant adverse zoning impact on the surrounding community.
